The Statistical Origin of Einstein's Famous Formula

Authors: Dennis Bluver

In this paper, it will be demonstrated that the formula e=mc^2 can be derived very simply using a model of a particle undergoing an inhomogeneous random walk at the speed of light. This is a simple, intuitive and mechanistic derivation of the famous formula that does not actually rely on special relativity.
