Con un tamaño de 33 cm y muy bajo costo de construcción, esta antena alcanza en ciudad plena y densa 10 Km en línea recta para potencia de 1 Watt, ofreciendo una buena calidad de transmisión y de recepción . Con 5 Watt el alcance se amplía a 20 Km en línea recta, manteniendo la buena calidad de comunicación. Es apta para ambos usos, con un handy y como antena fija de una estación.
