Was Auschwitz-Birkenau a Temple for Baal Tsaphon?

Auschwitz Birkenau was a mass destruction camp. But was it more than that? was there a religious aspect in the game? Auschwitz reminds us of the Exodus story and the jews that built the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx (Exodus 14:1-2). If the Great Pyramid was a temple for Baal Tsaphon, the Lord of the North, was Auschwitz then the same kind of thing?
