Currently accepted theories of the structure of macroscopic matter fail to explain the transmission of gravity and of electro-magnetic radiation. These theories are therefore, in some fundamental aspects, false. Technologies available today demonstrate that the structure of solid matter is not one of discontinuous atoms. This paper suggests that they are not, as postulated, composed of almost entirely a "perfect vacuum" and are not separated by large volumes of 'empty space'.
