It is shown that the flow of electricity, which compensates for the heat losses in wire with alternating current, extends inside the wire. In this case, an alternating current creates of a standing electromagnetic wave in the vicinity of the wire. Standing wave not can transmit energy from outside into the wire. \\ Показывается, что поток электроэнергии, компенсирующей тепловые потери в проводе с переменным током, распространяется внутри провода. При этом переменный ток создает стоячую электромагнитную волну в окрестности провода. Такая волна не может передавать энергию извне в провод.
