Abstract: Although Gabriel Marcel and Henri Bergson had not developed a philosophical system, properly, nor have they declared being part of this kind of system through their philosophical reflections. We can consider them as members of a original modality of the humanistic philosophical current. We can identify in their set of ideias a reflection focused on concerns about interpersonality and an openness about these ideias. Marcel and Bergson were reminded as thinkers who were capable of stimulating the need of a reflection that leads to a way of appreciation of another through a humanistic view. To them, the fundamental experience of our existence is the encounter of the “I” with tha “you”, mainly when this experience enables the overcoming of everything that, eventualy, may be synonymous of extermination and depreciation of the “you”. In this sense, the Gabriel Marcel and Henri Bergson´s humanism calls to a ethic of openness. Keywords: Opening, Humanism, Interpessonality.
