Resumen: La cultura europea del siglo XVIII asiste al nacimiento de la Estética como disciplina filosófica. La observación de la naturaleza y las posibilidades cognitivas que ofrece espolean numerosas investigaciones que servirán de inspiración tanto para el terreno del arte como para el desarrollo de un pensamiento capaz de convertir la exploración estética del mundo en testimonio cultural de una época. La metáfora del viaje, y en particular la percepción de riberas, mares y océanos, nos permite ilustrar mejor ciertas estéticas de lo bello y lo sublime capaces de impulsar una escritura del yo embarcado en los elixires de su propia historia hasta su progresiva disolución. The observation of the nature and the cognitive possibilities that it provides, boost considerable research offering a source of inspiration not only for the Art but also in the development of a thought capable of turn the Aesthetics exploration in the world into a cultural testimony of a period. The metaphor of the journey and, in particular the perception of river banks, seas and oceans, allows us to show better some Aesthetics of the Beauty and Sublime which spur a writing of the I shipped in the elixir of its own History until its progressive dissolution.
